Phew – this is the 3rd week of the last and final IronTeam 2007 pyramid! J What an awesome job over these past few weeks, let’s see, we’ve had 8 participants become Ironmen, the rest did a half ironman, and a triple brick! Phew, the light at the end of the tunnel is nearly here. Take time over the next few weeks to really take inventory of your journey. Remember where you were when you started, what’s gotten you to where you’re at today, who’s helped you along the way, what has motivated you to survive on less sleep then you thought humanly possible. All of those motivators will help to drive you through your recovery and taper. Say ‘THANKS’ to those around you and let them know how you’re doing. IronTeam is equal parts journey to destination! J

Here’s a look at the week ahead:

Monday: Rest and say Thanks to your Friends and Family

Tuesday: 6:30pm Captain’s Workout, Brick at SportsBasement. 90’spin followed by a 30’ run.

Wednesday: 6:00pm Captain’s Workout, Open Water swim! At your favorite Redwood shores! J We’ll get in a nice 2.4 mile swim!

Thursday: 6:00am Buddy run at Rancho, meet at the lower restrooms.

Friday: 6:ooam Buddy swim at Fremont HS OR run at Alum Rock park.

Saturday: OYO Century Ride. Ping us if you’d like some route suggestions. Be sure to wish Mentor Mike Pickels GOOD LUCK as he tackles the IronMan at VineMan this weekend! Go get ‘em Michael!

Sunday: OYO Brick. 25mike ride followed by a 15 mile run.

Thanks to all of you for making the 2007 Ironteam so spectacular! It’s been a pleasure getting to know all of you and our lives are richer for having had the opportunity!
